Together, by 2015, Innovative Schools and educators across the State can:

  • Launch 25 new model school  in Delaware's highest-need communities.  These schools will become an example for modern schooling.  The success of their reinvention will become an example for other schools across the state and country striving to improve public education

  • Provide 19,000 of Delaware's public school students with new choices for public schooling - choices that meet their specific learning needs and offer an innovative, high-quality academic program that prepares them for college and workforce readiness in the 21st century.
     
  • Prepare 44 top-notch principals and 250 specially trained teachers to actively engage in leading the reinvention of public schooling in Delaware's underperforming schools.
