The Need for Teachers
Delaware Talent Management was created to address the need for teachers in the state’s high need district and charter schools.
Roughly 1,100 teachers are hired each year in Delaware.
Yet many of the highest need teaching positions — secondary math, science, and special education — are left vacant or are not staffed by highly qualified teachers.
Many of these openings are in Delaware’s highest need schools.
